The Honeycomb Club is Sydney's most iconic burlesque-cabaret dinner theatre. Located in the famous nightlife district of Potts Point/Kings Cross, it entertains the public with a year-round calendar of cabaret dinner shows.
Inside the Honeycomb Club
The Honeycomb Club is an intimate room with a designated performance stage and a fully-stocked cocktail bar. Creating a full-sensory experience is at the heart of this immersive boutique-style cabaret club. The show is watched from your own private table, with cabaret seating. The maximum room capacity generally ranges from 60-80 people for a ticketed show, creating a cosy and boutique feel where the stage and the performances are in close proximity to the audience. Dinner and drinks are served to your table throughout the show, creating a highly integrated dining and entertainment experience. Seating ranges from low tables beside the stage and runway to high tables along the distinctive marble bar, which is lit from above with a row of ornate, hanging, glass lanterns.
The Entertainment
Our dinner shows are produced in-house and weave together choreographed dance, live singing and burlesque tease with elements of storytelling, stand-up comedy, parody, theatre, magic, acrobatics and vaudevillian variety.
The Dinner
The dining menu includes a set entrée and an à la carte main course, which is selected from the menu when seated at the show. No pre-selection or pre-ordering is required. The menu has three choices for the main. These change seasonally, yet are based on the options of chicken, fish or vegetarian. We regularly cater for special dietary needs and food allergies, including but not limited to vegan, gluten-free and dairy intolerant. A single dessert option is available as an inclusion or to order separately on the show night.
The food is delicious, modern Australian cuisine prepared and served by the revered kitchen of the Potts Point Hotel, located directly below the Honeycomb Club.
The Drinks
The Honeycomb Club bar includes a list of classic and modern cocktails, a range of spirits from house to top shelf, an elegant selection of Australian red and white wines and sparkling, plus champagne. There is also a focused selection of tap and bottled beer, cider and non-alcoholic mocktails. Drinks are made and served throughout the show. Ordering is done and paid for while seated, at any time during the show, through the ME&U app. Drinks are then brought directly to your table. A beverage-inclusive ticket is also available.
Location and Getting Here
The Honeycomb Club is located on Level 1 of 33 Darlinghurst Rd, Potts Point, discreetly tucked above the Potts Point Hotel, just metres from Kings Cross train station. You can enter our speakeasy-style cabaret club by taking the street-front stairwell right beside the door to the Potts Point Hotel, or by accessing the same staircase internally through the ground floor of the Hotel.
